Kush sits down with the Street Blogger
Street Blogger: Hey Kush
Street Blogger: How have you been?
Kush: I’m good, and youself?
Street Blogger: Just out here swashbuckling and such. So, I’m going to ask you for a questions. I want you to be comfortrable and honest. We aren’t going to get to deep..yet. We just want the people to get to know you.
Street Blogger: Word.
Street Blogger: What is it about Journalism?
Initially, I became interested in journalism because express myself better writing and I do speaking and I have always wanted to travel. Now, I want to inform people with my journalism. Back when I was in school. I went to Kings Bourough Community College and then transferred to Brooklyn College. It was while I was at Brooklyn College that I wanted to be on the news; a News Anchor. Since then I’ve found out the truth about the media. I guess I had to figure out the ‘fake’ part first to realize where I needed to be, and also to welcome better where I’ve come from.
Street Blogger: Where do you find your inspiration?
Kush: My Mom, My family, friends..believe it or not, I can find inspiration everywhere and in everyone. The people out and about, to the little girls in the community (that already lead little power lives) also the little girls that look up to all the wrong models like Nicki Minaj. I also get inspiration from The Street Poets NYC, I admire this movement (lifestyle). All of my friends, even the people I went to high School with are all doing great things, and it’s awesome because we are all so young to be doing so much.
Street Blogger: Do you think Life imitates Art or Art imitates life?
Kush: That’s a good question. Well, I’ve heard both. I’ve heard life imitates life, but I’ve even heard you say life imitates art. So it depends on how you look at it, it’s your perspective of things and Life in general.
Street Blogger: But what do you say?
Street Blogger: Where do you see yourself in 5 years? That’s 2017.
