A Photographer based out of Virgina, who loves to click, cook & travel.

“One’s life has value so long as one attributes value to the life of others, by means of love, friendship, indignation and compassion.” – Simone de Beauvoir My name is Erick Gowins, if I had to express what I love about photography the list would be endless. I enjoy capturing organic moments of life and expressing it through the art of photography. I’m also very adventurous when it comes to exploring who I am as a person, so I tend to challenge myself to engage in many creative projects, in order to test my limits. Also being a Father of two boys Anthony and Aaron, has taught me the importance of being a curator of memories, love, fashion, and art. All done through photography.

“The Man with the Hat”

The man with the hat and sunshades, He not see a thing. He runs with his eyes closed and blindfolds

wrapped in lust, tied with gluttony.

But he not need a thing.

He spends days trying to find what walks right past him every second, adding up to minutes and hours.

As buds bloom into flowers, He not smell a thing.

Can’t you tell?

He’s losing his senses because he became part of a census, more like a statistic, actually a percentage, a

vintage, not to old to be considered new, but old enough to be considered used, borrowed and

confused by word’s wisdom whispers’ in the wind.

But he not hear a thing.
