The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival announced the 2013 lineup today. Headliners include a variety of contemporary acts and returning favorites: Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, Dave Matthews Band, Maroon 5, The Black Keys, John Mayer, Widespread Panic, Hall & Oates, Phoenix, B.B. King, Frank Ocean, Earth, Wind & Fire and Willie Nelson.
Jazz Fest is a seven-day event scheduled for the last weekend of April and the first weekend of May each year. The music, food and culture of Louisiana are all celebrated at the festival located at the Fair Grounds Race Course. A more detailed day-by-day music schedule with performance times will be released at a later date.
The 2013 festival will be held over the weekends of April 26-28 and (plus Thursday) May 2-5. Single day passes and various VIP packages are all available ticket options. They can be purchased through the festival’s website and Ticketmaster.
