Speak VOLUMES X BIZZIE.

BIZZIE.BIZZIEBW

TWITTER - IG: @BIZZIEMONROE

Bizzie was born in Poplar Bluff Missouri on January 23rd, and currently resides in New York and attends college, holding a Associates degree, pursing her Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She speaks at many open venues in New York City as well as Westchester County. Bizzie fell in love with poetry in the second grade. All of her experiences in her life thus far are real life situations and are incorporated in her poetry.

BIZZIE2

Bizzie was raised by her stepmother Candace Cabbil who exposed her to various opportunities as a child. Candace always sent Bizzie to museums, summer reading camps, operas, plays, and made sure she traveled excessively. By the age of 14 Bizzie had been to almost every state in the country and had been outside of the country. Candace instilled black power in her. Bizzie became obsessed with the Black Panther movement and African American History at a young age.  Candace’s intelligence always pushed Bizzie to strive for more. Bizzie was also a daddy’s girl and loves her father dearly.

Though there was a strong mother figure in her life this didn’t alter Bizzie’s yearning for the presence of her biological mother. You can sense this yearning through her poetry. Yet and still Bizzie perseveres. She is now working on a mixtape called VENT. Bizzie has battle rapped on Spittaz League and will be battling on Queen of The Ring now. She is an extremely motivated individual and probably the most down to earth person you will meet.

TRAVIS LITTLE X REVOLUTIONARY X Mr. POETRY

IAm The Revolution

TWITTER SOUNDCLOUD YOUTUBE OFFICIAL SITE

It’s not often that a legendary young man comes forth and spits poetry and Hip Hop in a manner that gathers everyone there…. in the manner.  Showing adoration for Poetry and Art in a manner that only our generation can. You Are. I Am. We Are. The Revolution. Mother is Watching.

TL3

TL2Travis “Poetry” Little (born June 17, 1990) is a New Orleans singer, musician, poet and dancer. As the only child between his mother and father. He is the second youngest of five.

Poetry attended Abney Elementary, where he wrote his first poem and performed it at his graduation ceremony. Giving him his first taste of spoken word. He later attended St. Augustine HS taking up his passion of music while playing trumpet in the famous “Marching 100 Band”. There he learned about the great music of jazz and the art of musicianship. In college he help co-found “P.O.E. People” (Putting Out Expressive People) at Southeastern Louisiana University. Which has put on many performance around colleges, high schools, and charity benefit parties.

TL1During 2012, Poetry moved to New York CIty (place of birth) in order to gain a more intimate relationship with his biological father and follow his dream in spoken word and music. Since then, he has quickly become a rising star in the poetry community and has vowed to ” Not stop till I’m satisfied.”

TL4Travis Little brings a New Orleans swagger to the stage with his weird sense of fashion, his southern hospitality and an unique voice thats seems to have the crowd stuck and bewilder in amazement. He sometimes can blend into a crowd but not after he’s set fire to the stage or subway train. He’s is definitely a person you can’t forget. “Ya hurrrd me!”

U CAN CALL ME L.A. X BROOKLYN BADASS

LA1

BANDCAMP SOUND CLOUD TUMBLr TWITTER OFFICIAL WEBSITE

For L.atasha A.lcindor also known as L.A., this is about respecting the art. Embarking on her rap journey in 2010 as just a spoken word poet with a passion for Hip Hop, the “nonchalant badass” decided to take the rap game into her hands in her first ever feature, “We Got Bars I” cypher, & has hit the ground running ever since. Put the thoughts of Lauryn Hill, the wildness of M.I.A. and the passion of Kanye West into a blender with sprinkles of Lil Kim and Nas, you would dish, L.A.. Born in Brooklyn as Latasha Alcindor, L.A. has always had a connection to the arts, from dance, writing, acting, and now rapping.

Ladies and Gentlemen give it up for ME! The Street Blogger! I have done it again; brought you the illest in underground, breath-taking, I know. Okay..enough of me and my bullsh*t let’s get to the music. It’s simple. Good Art comes from the people who dare to dig deep and just speak of what they are seeing along the way. Yo, She’s a Poet, singer, EMCEE, and a pretty awesome person if I say so myself! Enough of me….back to L.A. Read on, watch on, thank you for TUNING IN. We appreciate you for stopping by here on StreetPoetsNYC.com. Peace Family. Mother is watching.

LA2

Since 2010, L.A. has performed in a multitude of major shows, including opening for Good Music’s Big Sean at NYU (2010), as well as Cali’s own Nipsey Hussle (2012). She also has rocked the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival (2011), headlined for Toronto’s “Yes Yes Y’all” (2012) and surprised stages at SXSW and A3C. Featured on MTV2′s Sucker Freestyles, MTV Rapfix’s “Get in the Game”, Rocawear’s “That’s Rocawear” campaign, & Reebok’s all-female cypher, “The Freestyle”, L.A. has showing her hunger and drive in a two year span but devotes herself to being herself no matter what. With two projects out, “The Presentation” & “The L.A. Riots: Mental Fatality”, L.A. shows her exponential growth and is only getting better, as highlighted when she was named amongst AllHipHop.com’s Top 25 Underground Artists of 2011, featured in a Vibe Magazine (2011) and Ebony Magazine’ SonicBoom article where she was noted to be “lyrically superior to 95% of the people who have major label deals”(2012). But still hungry and humble, L.A. is diligently working on her next project, “LALytes”: Revelations of L.ife A.ddict which is joined with short film series due for release in 2013. L.A. has intrigued fans all over the globe with her captivating wordplay and energy-filled performances, but if you were to ask why she does this, her answer would only be, “the art got me.”

Get Social w. FLIRTUS on FACEBOOK and on TWITTER now!

Born in Brooklyn his biggest influences come from those things that can only be taught through experience. He found early in his life his gift for words, but writing stories would take a side role to his first love of Basketball. Luckily for him he chose the side chick of poetry and never looked back.
Today Flirtus has done motivational speaking for the Build on project  in the Bronx and various other  high schools. He has performed and featured at various venues and colleges such as bus boys and poets, Nuyo Rican Poets Café, Santos Party House,  NYU, Brooklyn College, John Jay, BMCC, and Blue door Art Gallery where he also runs an open mic called  ’The Night i Became Untamed,’ and just came off his first tour with The Deans List tour.

With his poetry he one day hopes to inspire, and change the minds of those that never believed to aspire for better. He believes you can’t change the world, but you can change you, and by changing you, you bring difference to the world around you. He just hopes to be the trigger to doing that for those surrounding him. Luckily for his audience His journey has yet to be finished, so stay tuned for the ride that he has in store because a Phoenix is about to take flight, one stanza at a time.
